Who can use it

Staff with the compliance permissions (List Compliance Calendar, Generate Statutory Reports, Update Compliance Guardrails and so on). People who could already run payroll received them automatically. It needs payroll in your plan.

Where: HR → Payroll → Compliance.

Everything on this page comes from the country pack installed on each legal entity (under Settings → Legal entities). A legal entity without a pack has no deadlines, reports or limits here.

Calendar

The Calendar tab lists what is due, by date: what it is, the period it covers, who it goes to and the legal entity.

  • Deadlines are made from the pack for the coming year and kept up to date every night. Click Update from packs to do it now.
  • When you have filed or paid, click Mark done. Reopen puts it back.
  • An open deadline past its date shows Overdue.
  • When the pack names a report for a deadline, Make report opens the Reports tab with it filled in.

HR gets a reminder a week before and on the day (in the app and by email). Change these under HR setup → Reminders (source Compliance filing deadline).

Reports

  1. Open the Reports tab.
  2. Choose the legal entity, the report and the period. Click Make report.
  3. Download the file and submit it to the authority. Then mark the deadline done.

The file covers final payroll of the period (locked and paid runs, with reversals and corrections). Submission is manual for now.

Guardrails

Rule When it is checked
Pay below the minimum wage When a salary is saved, and before a run is locked
Hours above the legal limits Before a run is locked, from attendance (average weekly hours and overtime hours in the month)

For each rule choose Block, Warn only or Don't check. By default underpayment is blocked and long hours give a warning. With Block, a salary below the minimum is refused and a run with such a person cannot be locked; with Warn only it shows in the run's checks.

Below the settings you see everyone whose current pay is below their legal entity's minimum wage.

Country packs

The Country packs tab shows, per legal entity, its pack and version, whether it is verified and until when. When a newer version exists you see what changed (rules changed, added, removed). Nothing changes on its own: open Review and upgrade to see the full difference and upgrade the legal entity when ready. HR is also told once, by notification, when a newer version appears.

Example scenario

Your company has a legal entity whose pack lists a monthly contribution return due on the 15th.

  1. On 8 November HR gets the reminder "Contribution return due on 15 November".
  2. HR opens Compliance → Calendar, clicks Make report on the deadline, checks the period (October) and makes the file.
  3. HR submits the file to the authority, then clicks Mark done.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

The calendar is empty. The legal entity has no country pack, or its pack has no calendar. Install a pack under Settings → Legal entities.

A report is not in the list. The legal entity's pack does not list it.

A salary is refused as below the minimum wage. Raise it, or ask an administrator to set the rule to Warn only if there is a legal reason.
