What it is for
Use broadcasts for notices and offers to a group: a maintenance notice, a payment reminder, an Eid offer. Every broadcast is checked by a second person before it goes out, so one person cannot message every customer alone.
Who can use it
- Broadcasts manage permission: create and edit.
- Broadcasts approve permission: approve or send back. You cannot approve your own broadcast.
Your administrator must have added at least one provider for each channel you plan to use (see Providers).
Where to find it

Example scenario
Rumana prepares "Maintenance tonight 1 am to 3 am" as a Transactional SMS to Active clients in the Mirpur branch, 600 people. She sends herself a test and submits it. Supervisor Imran approves it. Sending starts at 100 per minute and finishes in about six minutes. Three recipients had opted out and are listed as Skipped.
Tips
- Use Marketing only for promotions. Service notices belong to Transactional.
- Keep the pace low for the first large send.
- Use Send me a test every time.
Troubleshooting
"No template fits these channels yet." Create one under Quick templates.
I cannot approve my own broadcast. By design. Ask another approver.
Recipients left out. Check opt-outs and do-not-contact in Opt-outs.
