Who can use it

Anyone can create a workspace; the person who creates it becomes its Owner. The wizard and the checklist are shown to people who can set the workspace up. People invited by an administrator see a short welcome instead (see If you were invited).

Where: the Create one link on the sign-in page, then the dashboard.

Create your workspace

  1. On the sign-in page click Create one ("Don't have an account?").
  2. In Choose your plan pick a plan and, if you like, a Billing cycle (Monthly or Yearly). Every paid plan starts with a free trial. The Order summary shows what is included, discounts, tax and the trial length (for example "14-day trial").
  3. Fill in First name, Last name, email, phone, Country, and Organization name. The country sets your timezone, currency and working week; you can change them later.
  4. Tick I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  5. Click Create workspace.
  6. Under How would you like to pay? choose one of:
Choice What happens
Pay after the trial You save a card or bKash wallet now. Nothing is charged today. The saved method is charged when the trial ends, and you are reminded an hour before. Click Save and go to dashboard
Pay now You pay the first period today through the payment partner's secure checkout (Continue to payment)
Maybe later / Skip for now Offered when your plan does not require a card. Pay later from Plan & billing

If your plan needs a card for the trial, Skip for now is not offered. If the plan in your link is not available, 9bx selects another one and tells you; you can change it later under billing.

Verify your email

A 6-digit code is emailed to you. Enter it on the Verify it's you screen; it expires in 5 minutes, and Resend code sends a new one. You can verify later, but a banner at the top shows the deadline ("Verify your email by ..."). After the deadline the workspace becomes read-only until you verify ("Verify your email to keep editing").

  1. Open the sign-in page ("Welcome back").
  2. Enter your Work email.
  3. If your company uses single sign-on, click Continue with SSO and sign in at your company's page. Otherwise enter your password, or choose Sign in with password instead.
  4. Tick Remember me for 30 days on your own device if you like.
  5. Click Sign in.
  6. If two-factor is on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, or switch to Recovery and use a recovery code (details).

If your workspace uses its own domain (such as care.padmanet.example), the page shows your company name and logo.

Forgot your password

  1. Click Forgot password? and enter your email.
  2. Click Send OTP. A reset link arrives by email and works for 60 minutes. Use Resend email (after the countdown) if it does not arrive; check spam.
  3. Follow the link and set a new password. The strength meter shows how strong it is.

People who must use single sign-on reset their password at their identity provider instead.

The setup wizard

On your first visit as Owner a Set up wizard opens. Every step can be skipped (Skip this step or Skip setup); you can return any time from Help → Setup guide.

Step What you enter
Company profile Company logo (square PNG or SVG, at least 256x256), Company name, Address, and the kind of business: ISP or cable operator, Business or shop, Call center, or Something else
Regional settings Timezone, Currency, Language, Working hours and Weekly days off. Values are guessed from your browser and country; fix any that are wrong
Where things run 9bx Cloud or your own server for the phone system and file storage. Choose your own server if law or customers require data to stay in your country or building; everyone else should choose 9bx Cloud
Your team Name, work email and Role for each person; Add another adds a row. Each person gets an email to choose a password. The page shows "{used} of {limit} users on your plan"
Set up your modules A quick start with first tasks for each module you chose (phone, tickets, CRM, HR)
Done Summary and a link to the dashboard

Click Save and continue on each step. If you skip everything, 9bx says "No problem. Finish setting up any time from Getting started on your dashboard."

The Getting started card

The dashboard shows a Getting started card: "A few steps to get your workspace ready. Each one ticks itself when it's done." It shows Your progress (for example 3/8) and Show all / Show less. Which items appear depends on your modules and role.

Product tour and Help menu

The product tour is a two-minute walk through the menu, search, notifications, softphone and dashboard. Use the arrow keys or the buttons; press Esc to stop. There are also short tours per module (CRM, Tickets, Phone, HRM, Drive, Reports, Settings).

Open your user menu (your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar) and find the Help section:

If you were invited

Invited members receive an email with a one-time link to set a password. After setting it they see Welcome, {name}! with a few quick touches: Profile photo, Your timezone, Notification preferences, and (if you have a phone line) a note about the round phone button at the bottom right. Click Save and take the tour. If the link expired, your administrator can send a new one with Resend invite in Team members.

Example scenario

Rafiq creates the workspace for Padma Net Support. He picks the Pro plan, monthly, enters his details and chooses Pay after the trial with a bKash wallet. He verifies the email code, picks "ISP or cable operator" in the wizard, keeps Asia/Dhaka and BDT (set from Bangladesh), chooses 9bx Cloud, and invites Nusrat (Support lead) and Imran (Billing). The next morning the Getting started card shows 4/8, and he finishes the rest from the dashboard.

Tips

  • Skip the wizard if you are in a hurry; nothing is lost and the checklist remembers.
  • Verify your email on day one so the workspace never turns read-only.
  • Choose 9bx Cloud unless you have a clear reason to host yourself; you can change later.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

The code is invalid or has expired. Codes last 5 minutes. Use Resend code.

"This email already has an account." Sign in, or use Reset password.

"Single sign-on is not set up for this email domain." Use Sign in with password instead, or ask an administrator to set up single sign-on.

"Too many wrong codes". Two-factor sign-in is locked for a few minutes. Wait, or use a recovery code.

I do not see the wizard. It is shown to people who can set the workspace up. Look under Help.
